They truly deserve this five star rating! Everyone from the office staff, to those doing the procedures helped me out. Not only did the office staff help me while I was in a tight/odd situation, my fillings and cleaning were PAINLESS!!! I've never had such an easy dentist visit especially given the amount work they had to do my teeth. Dr Ed and Ivan did a wonderful job on my fillings very easy and painless! Also the person who did my deep cleaning was VERY knowledgeable. FIVE STARS. P,S, there was no Jill there when i went.

I started coming to Carlsbad Dental Associates in January of this year. I am not a huge fan of going to the dentist however the front desk staff, Dr. Ed, and Dr. Mudd are truly some of the best and professional people I've met in this field. The front desk is able to talk me through my plan with what is covered on my insurance and helps me prepare for any future dental work that I may need. Dr. Ed has helped guide and suggest recommendations for what I need take care of with my dental hygiene. He never tries to hard sell me on what I need which is what I love. He offers honest and respectful suggestions on what I should do. Dr. Mudd helped remove my wisdom teeth and he did a quick and painless job of removing my teeth. I was always terrified of removing my wisdom teeth but the staff and the doctors always help reassure you when it comes to make sure you feel safe and prepared. I highly recommend this place! I definitely plan on coming back for all of my oral hygiene and dental work.

So far, so good. Dr. Adourian explains things and is positive! Everyone there was very nice. We have a long term treatment plan in place - here's hoping for more positive experiences with CDA.

I have been with CDA for 10 years and HATE going to the dentist - IT HURTS even when your teeth don't hurt. :-) Anyway, The new dentist, Dr. Adourian is knowledgeable, gentle and very patient. They don't push product on you anymore like they used to. The office is nice and the staff - especially Charlotte is very knowledgeable about insurance plans. She is helpful and has excellent follow up. My family goes to CDA and have had no issues ever. I don't write reviews but was looking up their number to make an appointment for my daughter I saw some poor reviews. I don't agree. CDA is a good place.

I just moved to the area recently and I was having concerns with one of my molars the other day, so I decided to make an appointment with Carlsbad Dental Associates. I have never been there before and I was sceptical on how they would treat me since I don't have insurance. I was greeted by Jill, she was a very nice woman with a warm smile and was very understanding when I told her that I didn't have dental insurance. We got things worked out and asked if I could have a seat. I didn't wait 10 min before Dr. Edward came out and greeted me, telling me that he would be working with me today. We talked for a few minutes before he did anything, he did the x-rays and after, we talked for about 20 minutes. I didn't mind talking that long, it showed me that Dr. Edward was actually listening and not trying to rush me along so he could work on other patients. The conclusion came to that I need a root canal and a crown and that I needed a deep cleaning before the procedure because I had deep pockets in that area. I have dentist friends back home that I always used to talk with about this stuff, so I know if I was trying to be swindled into extra things I didn't need. Dr. Edward was very up front with everything and I trust his opinion on what I needed. I didn't get the root canal that day, but I did get a regular cleaning that will help prepare me for the deep cleaning later down the road. That's when I was in David's hands, a very nice hygienist that knew what he was doing. He, like Dr. Edward was very easy to talk to and he broke everything down to me as he was doing it. Even Dr. Edward stopped by twice to check up on me to make sure all three of us were on the same page and what I needed to take care of for the future procedure. After the cleaning, I thanked them both and was shown out to the waiting area where I was greeted by Jill again. We set up a consultation for me to come in in a few days and we talked a few minutes about dental insurance and what kind would benefit me, if I was to decide on getting some in the future. She also gave me a price for the root canal and crown if I was to pay out of pocket, it was a lot less than I was expecting! I plan on staying with these guys for as long as I'm down here.

I wanted to share how I personally have had very good experiences with my dental treatment at Carlsbad dental. My mom is a patient of Dr. Adourian and has had great things to say when shes gotten her work done. that's how I decided to come in. It had been some time since I had seen a dentist so I was nervous, but the staff in the front and the back office have made me feel very comfortable through the times that I come for my treatment. Dr. Brown did my fillings and is really excellent at explaining treatment and being realistic with what is needed and made me feel like I understood the work and the order that it needed to be done. I also had my wisdom teeth taken out with Dr.Mudd the oral surgeon who comes to the office.(which is extremely convenient) he was great with telling me about the procedure and how to expect to feel after etc. with a couple of days of rest I felt great and that was such a relief to finally have my wisdom out so they wouldn't cause any more trouble. The last thing I needed was my braces to get my teeth to where they should be. Dr. Messenger the orthodontist is such a sweetheart and made me feel so much better about my smile. I needed quite a bit of movement to get my lower teeth straight after my wisdom crowded them a lot, and I even needed an expander on my top arch because it was so narrow. Every appt. she notices what movement is happening and tells me what will be happening with the different adjustments. I even am going to be finishing ahead of schedule, totaling my braces to be about a year and 4 months or so instead of the two to two and a half that I thought I would need. Overall I would definitely recommend coming to this office. The doctors all made me feel so comfortable with the treatment that I needed and I am so glad that I came here :)

Who gets excited about the Dentist Well if you gotta go you gotta go there's no two ways about it but at least the staff at Carlsbad Dental make it it convenient with Saturday appointments I can't say enough positive things about dr. Brown and his staff the first time I was in was for an emergency and now I visit for general maintenance I've never had a dentist actually clean my teeth it's always been the staff hygienist so you can imagine the surprise I had when Dr Brown examined and then , proceeded to clean my teeth Dr. Brown has amazing bedside manner he spent quality time with me and I felt no pressure in regards to getting some much-needed cosmetic work done if I was to say anything negative I would have to say that the way to go Carlsbad Dental exterior stairs leading to the practice is filthy the exterior is just horrific , and I was a little skeptical prior to entering the actual dental office on a final note I'd like to say thank you to Ivan and Janet and of course Dr. Brown for always making me smile brighter

I truly cannot say enough good things about Carlsbad Dental Associates! The office is clean and comfortable, the staff is professional and friendly, and Dr. Brown is awesome! Jill is truly amazing and has gone above and beyond to work with my insurance and develop payment options that work for me---exceptional customer service! I would absolutely recommend CDA, and will continue to use them for all of my dental needs.

I wouldn't normally leave a review, but I feel like I should go out of my way for this one, because this dentist office is just awesome! The staff is so friendly and seem genuinely happy to see you and answer questions you might have. I love that they explain every procedure to me as I'm having it done, it puts me more at ease and also is also just soothing to be talked to when you're getting your teeth filled! Super professional, a far step from the last dentist I tried.

Carlsbad Dental Associates is an ABSOLUTE GEM! They are professional and hold themselves in high regard - thank Goodness! They use the best methods and equipment to give you the best quality work! It is because of their methods, cleanliness, and professionalism, that I looked forward to each visit to have work done! Dr. Edward is extremely professional and personable. He has a genuine spirit about him and each time I went in for work, he greets with a smile. Dr. Mudd did the best work on my wisdom teeth extraction! I healed up so quickly and went into the surgery ready because of the quality of work I knew I was receiving. Varonika, the dental hygienist, does the best quality work and is extremely knowledgeable in explaining everything surrounding the work she is doing. When all is said and done, Grace greets you with a smile and helps make scheduling and payments smooth. All staff is professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. You feel as though you're part of the family when you walk in. I've recommended them to ALL that I know, and will continue to do so. I believe there was a change in ownership, recently, hence some bad reviews, but I am VERY thankful to have found them now. Looking forward to seeing their smiley faces soon!!!

This is the best place to go for your dental needs. The staff are incredible, I feel like I'm visiting family in a "good Way". You feel at home here. The Doctors are supper professional, and Mr. Ed has been amazing thru out my procedure,I truly believe in the Carlsbad Dental Associates. Thank you for all of your hard work

I am very pleased with this dental office, the service, availability of appointments, and prices are very good. The dentist even personally calls me after a procedure to see how I am doing, now that is amazing service! I would highly recommend them to others. Parking is easy, its in a strip mall on the second floor. I have never waited more than 5 or 10 minutes for my procedure - they are super quick and considerate. They have headphones to watch tv or radio instead of listening to the grinding noise.

The staff was amazing to start. The waiting area feels open and bright compared to a lot of other places I have been. I was seen in time and it did not take long at all. The guy who did my X-rays was really nice and friendly. We talked about random stuff while he shot the pictures. I didn't talk with dr. Brown too much just because he was in my mouth getting the cleaning done. Honestly probably one of the best dentists I have been to in a long time. I would recommend any time.

I had a wonderful experience. I hadn't been to a dentist in 5 years. I was sure to get an earful right? No, not at all. No one was judging or rude, everyone was professional and polite. David, my hygienist was well educated and explained the details of my deep cleaning. I'm returning to complete the other side next month. I have good insurance, I still paid out of pocket. You will always pay out of pocket. But I would rather pay for quality work! I would definitely recommend this dental group!

would not usually write about a dentist visit (always traumatic enough to go through the experience "live" without memorializing it in print) but after spending the morning at CARLSBAD DENTAL ASSOCIATES i was strolling through their YELP page and was so surprised by the reviews i actually opened by wallet and took out their business card to make sure you guys were talking about the same place. very, very positive experience. a couple weeks ago when my wife was in, she had a very, very positive experience. well run, courteous, knowledgeable and professional. if i had to pick a single word to describe the staff i would say engaging. highly recommended. i don't pass out that many five star reviews but these folks certainly earned theirs.

I'm very pleased with all my dental treatments.Dr. Brown has been my dentist for 10 years and he is an expert at his job! I highly recommend him. Veronica has been doing my dental cleaning for a few years and is always very gentle, thorough, and friendly. She goes out of her way to make me feel comfortable. All the Office staff are friendly and say hello to me by name. Many of them have been there for over 10 years and know how to treat their patients very well. Thank you!

Thanks so much to Jill and the team at Carlsbad Dental Associates. We were at Legoland when our 1 1/2 year old took a spill over a railing in Miniland, causing her to fall on her mouth and what appeared to be a chipped tooth. A quick internet search lead us to the angelic staff at Carlsbad Dental Associates, who helped us find a pediatric dentist who could help us, and all of this after 5pm. We're grateful for you and your team!

Usually the visit to the dentist is a traumatic experience for me. But when I had terrible tooth ache my friend suggested I go to Carlsbad Dental Associates..As terrified as I was I decided to go, I was pleasantly surprised by the expience.From the front desk reception all the way to the tech (Kristal) and Dr. Adourian. All the staff was very helpful and very understanding of the fact that I was afraid. I had quite extensive work done and felt no pain, and was given very good instructions on how to take care of the area. Dr Adourian is given an A+ by me. I will defiantly be going back and recommending them to friends. Carlsbad Dental Associates has a wonderful and helpful staff and has changed my thoughts on dentist. Very grateful for the care that was given to me, this dental office has a 5 star rating from me. Thank you

Let me preface this with noting that I "despise" the dentist office, in general. However, coming to this office has made a world of difference for me. Dr. Edward and his team are very thorough, professional, and comforting. They explain step by step what they're doing & what you should expect. I get laughing gas when I go (do it!) and it makes a big difference. My last visit - yesterday, I had some work done and Dr. Edward & the Hygienist were amazing, put me at ease, & got the work done quickly while the office gals kept an eye on my little one. Highly suggest trying this place out!

All too often dentists get blamed for the lack of dental care that we ourselves are responsible for, resulting in dentists quickly becoming the recipients of resentment and dissatisfaction related to these dental healthcare shortcomings. While there is always room for improvement, Dr. Edwards practice is quite the opposite. Dr. Edward has built a practice of friendly, professional and courteous staff. They are comforting and attentive in the front office and along with state of the art equipment and diagnostics; the dental staff is extremely patient, knowledgeable and friendly. Over the years, I have recommended many friends and acquaintances, who have been equally impressed. Our entire family feels lucky to be patients in Dr. Edwards practice. Perfection is hard to improve!

I have never had more then one cavity my entire life and I had to have my first ever root canal. The term root canal incurs many images and can be traumatic news for some people. I went for the initial checkup as I was complaining of sensitivity and pain in my lower left number 19 tooth. It had been capped many years ago because I chipped it. I initially figured it was a leak that caused an infection. I was told at the checkup that I would come in a few days later for the root canal with Dr. Park and later an impression and temporary molar cap done by Dr. Brown, until I receive the permanent in 2 weeks. I went to the root canal appointment and everyone at the office was friendly, informative, professional and proceeded to initiate the root canal. It took 2 hours and it was so pain free and relaxing that I almost fell asleep twice..lol It turns out it was a leak, not a fracture and the tooth will remain healthy. The total process took 3 hours and it was a pleasant experience. Dr. Ralph Brown did the impression with the assistance of Trina a newbie at the office who is very nice. I highly recommend that anyone seeking a comfortable, relaxing, professional staff and wants the best and latest technology the dental field has to offer, to go to Carlsbad Dental Associates & Orthodontics. I will go every 6 months for a cleaning moving forward.

A friend recommend me to this dental facility and I wouldn't even call it a dental facility more like an amazing Business that treats you like a Super Star and makes you feel comfortable and at home. The Doctors are amazing and answer and Questions and concerns. The front office staff are also an amazing group of people and definitely know what they are doing and always work around your busy work schedule as well as give you great offers and work with you on your treatment plan. Don't get me started on the back staff; Cole and Ed are the best people and guys on the planet, and let's not forget the one and only IVAN he's the best DA around the world. They are my forever.
