Specializing in cosmetic, family, and emergency dentistry, Dr. Sean Hariri’s dental office Carlsbad Shores Dentistry offers services of laser dentistry (gum surgery, cold and canker sores, pocket reduction), placing and restoring implants, orthodontics (Invisalign®, braces, tooth-colored braces), root canal treatment, and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Hariri specializes in laser, cosmetic, and implant dentistry, has a patient and outcome focused dental approach, and uses the latest dental equipment to treat dental problems of patients located in all coastal communities of North County and also greater San Diego.
He received his undergraduate degree from the California State University and completed his degree in dentistry from the Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry in 2008. Dr. Hariri is a certified provider of Invisalign® and Six Month Braces, sees patients of all ages, is qualified to perform nitrous sedation, and has worked extensively with Laser and Cadcam dentistry (CEREC). Dr. Hariri has also studied at the Engel dental implant institute with Dr. Engel.

Was looking for a new dentist in the area and am SO glad I came across Dr. Hariri at Carlsbad Shores Family Dental. He went over my exam and x rays with me throughly and provided a treatment plan at the end of my visit. Jasmine did an amazing job with my cleaning leaving me teeth feeling amazing when I left! I go back on Monday for a whitening treatment and am looking forward to that. Easy to find location and pleasant staff! Definitely recommend coming here!

Okay so the second visit was amazing - again, the staff was absolutely accommodating.This time, Dr. Hariri had me come in to redo my teeth whitening session for free and personally explained why the procedure did not go so well the first time and now my expectations are not as high anymore (last time, i believe i was told by a staff member that my teeth went 1 or 2 shades whiter and was clearly not true). With him as proof, my teeth went half a shade whiter after the second whitening session but for the type of teeth I have, i guess i can't complain. We agreed to do a couple more times but not extensively as it may cause to make my teeth sensitive. I now feel comfortable and trust Dr. Hariri and his whole team. Thank you!

I'm feeling too much cosmetic emphasis vs a treatment plan. The cleanings I've had here were barely a scratch on the surface. Needs more accurate billing/appointments/reliability. Friendly staff and doctor. Nice office.

In some alternate universe there may be a superior dental practice, but that does not seem at all likely. Dr. Hariri and his staff take time with every patient, yet make each individual feel special. More like a family than a business, this practice delivers quality dental service every single time, and Dr Sean makes personal phone calls on nights and weekends to check on his patients after hours. I literally have no complaints: exceptional people, exceptional care.

My experience at this facility was very pleasant. All of the staff were extremely polite. Jasmine and Ana had a great bed side manner and gently cleaned my teeth. Dr. Hariri was very knowledgeable and was straight forward. My previous dental office would always over sell different treatment options. I didn't get that impression here. I felt that I got a great deal for the price! I plan on returning!!!

I rarely give high ratings to dentists, but for me, this place is so far so good. Hygienists are super nice and the doctor too. I like how they have netflix for you when you are being worked on, but beware, don't pick a comedy to watch, or you'll be laughing with your mouth open and i am sure that annoys whoever is working on you...

Moved to the area a month ago and needed to start with a new dentist. I wasn't worried about myself but was really worried about my husband. He went had an appt. and came out raving about the staff, office but most importantly Dr. Sean. He was thrilled with his care and that they listened and gave him options regarding his care. This was a great find through Groupon and so far so good.

I just recently moved to the Carlsbad area and was in search for a dentist and after much searching online, my wife stumbled upon Carlsbad Shores Family Dentistry. She came here last week for a cleaning & I came this past week for a cleaning & check up as well. We both LOVED it! My cleaning was very thorough & painless. The staff is amazing and Dr. Sean is awesome! They are warm, welcoming, very attentive to your needs & have great bedside manner. The establishment is very nice, clean and has the latest technology! You even get to watch your favorite Netflix show while they work on you. I highly recommend Carlsbad Shores Family Dentistry!

Dr. Sean and staff are truly one of a kind!!!! I personally do not care to go to the dentist with past bad experiences and all but these guys really make the visit great. From the moment you walk in April greets you with a friendly smile. Dr. Sean and his hygienists are professional, caring, empathetic and really listen to your concerns and goals. So here I am, down in Carlsbad for a week long training event and as soon as I land in SD one of my molars starts hurting. The pain goes from bad to worse to the point where I can no longer concentrate through training. I called Dr. Hariri's practice in literally, 30 minutes later I am seating in his chair having my first root canal done. I truly hate getting dental work done, I'd rather have general surgery rather than dental work. My past experiences with dental offices have been horrible, but Dr. Hariri has truly changed that. I recently had to have a root canal and got a dental implant all in the same day, he only used local and I didn't feel a thing! I had minimal soreness that over the counter meds took care of, no swelling and feel better already. This Dr. Truly amazes me. His staff, wow great chair side manner, and always making sure I'm OK through the procedure, and Jasmine she has rehabilitated my teeth back to a healthy smile. Highly recommend this dental office, I've even got my family coming here now. Thank you Dr Hariri and staff!!!!

I rarely am so impressed with anything that I feel utterly compelled to yelp! But! I have to yelp Carlsbad Family dentistry. From the front desk gal, to the hygienist, to the dental assistant and to the master himself, the dentist, this place is top notch. They are always concerned about your level of comfort and TRULY are the epitome of professional. I usually dread going to the dentist (who doesn't?) but I feel very comfortable and confident in their care. The facility is comfortable and there is abundant parking and it is technologically advanced (hello personal Netflix). You are treated as if you are their most important patient and involve you in the decision making and provide excellent education. I am thoroughly pleased to have found a place that I can recommend to everybody!

Found this location on groupon & the price for an X-Ray, cleaning, consultation, & teeth whitening was $200 less than through my insurance! Not to mention the staff was incredibly friendly, I got to watch friends episodes throughout my whitening & cleaning experience. The whitening actually surprised me at how well it worked. Definitely recommend this location as well as their whitening. I'm getting my Invisalign next. Super excited!

Dr. Hariri and his staff are great! I am terrified of dental procedures, even simple cleanings. I recently had to get two crowns, which is my biggest nightmare short of a root canal and Dr. Hariri did everything he could to make me comfortable and keep me calm. It was definitely one of the best dental experiences I've had! You can also see right away that he really truly cares about his patients and his staff. The office has great energy, is clean and nicely decorated. He's also followed up on every visit and call I've made. I would highly recommend visiting Dr. Hariri if you're in need of dental, especially somebody who is really uncomfortable going to the dentist!

Dr Hariri and his staff are awesome. I have been in the dental industry selling dental equipment for the past 20 years and when Dr Hariri opened his doors I chose him to be my personal dentist. Last week I had my first crown prep ever and I was impressed with how meticulous Dr Hariri was. He kept making fine adjustments to my prepped tooth to make sure it was absolutely perfect which made me ask him what power magnification his loops were because I knew they had to be pretty high powered. He said they were 4.0 which is very impressive because most general dentists don't use that high of power magnification. I always tell my friends that when looking for a good dentists make sure they wear magnification and good lighting. Believe it or not there are a lot of dentists that still practice dentistry without magnification. Think about it, they are working in a small dark hole and half the time looking through a mirror to see what they are doing. MAGNIFICATION IS A MUST and the better they can see the better off everyone is. I was also super impressed with the lab Dr Hariri told me he uses in San Marcos. It is one of the top labs in North County and I'm glad they will be doing the first crown. I also had my teeth cleaned by Paris Dr Hariri's hygienist who was also phenomenal. She is also very attentive to detail and took her time and did an amazing job. I was also impressed with the piezo electric scaler she used for my cleaning which made it very comfortable. I am referring all my friends to Dr Hariri with confidence.

He works with Top of the line Hi Tech equipment and with any procedure you take on, his goal is to make it as comfortable and painless as possible. He takes pride in what he does. I got two crowns done yesterday which I watched get made in front of me and it was such a cool experience. Thank you so much Dr. Sean for fixing my crowns and being patient with me yesterday!
