Dr. Michael is amazing! I have been going to him for the last couple years and never had a problem with anything. My favorite part is that I am in and out quickly. I don't have to wait for hours in the waiting area or in the chair. He gets the work done quickly and efficiently! Highly recommend him!

After many visits to different dentists in the city and Queens. I think I am going here forever! I also love the other Haung Wei lady who does tooth filling and the front desk lady.

Friendly staff and great service. I didn't feel judged for the problems I was having and they took the time to explain everything to me clearly before proceeding, particularly my out-of-pocket costs.

If you don't like going to the dentist, especially if you put it off for a while, this is the place for you. The high ratings are well deserved. I called the morning of July 3 and was able to get a same-day appointment to fix a painful dental situation. My anxiety lessened with each minute I spent there. The entire staff was pleasant and professional. They clearly understand that some people dread walking in. Nevertheless, I was offered several options for my procedure (molar extraction), and it was taken care of before they closed the office for the holiday. It is worth noting that Dr. Salooki administered the local anesthetic with such precision that I didn't feel the sagging numbness that often accompanies lidocaine. It was truly a pleasure to have a tooth extracted here. I would trust them to perform any procedure. #FightOn

My husband and I are both patients who are extremely happy with Dr. Solooki and his team. My experiences there have been nothing but pleasant. No wait time, always thorough and always a pleasant visit. Love that they have free valet parking especially since they are downtown and it can definitely be hard to find parking!
On my most recent visit- I was extremely nervous- removing 4 wisdom teeth! I was extremely hesitant to use general anesthesia and this is why I chose Dr. Solooki to remove my wisdom teeth since he was going to use local anesthetic. They made me feel extremely comfortable with my decision and reassured me to have no fear. The procedure went AMAZING! I thought I would be in extreme pain for day and my face would look like a chipmunk for days! Fortunately for me, the swelling subsided in a few hours and I have minimal pain (more of a feeling of an uncomfortable feeling in my mouth- I did after all just pull out 4 teeth). Dr. Solooki and his assistant really made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire procedure. I was extremely happy doing this procedure with him.

I've been going to Calm Dental for 2 years now, I've switched insurances and it was still effortless to continue care with Dr. Solooki. He's a kind caring man and I've always felt comfortable with his staff and his recommendations.

Just had my root canal done here today...Definitaly coming back the staff was great very professional. They numbed me really good i practically didnt feel a thing during the proseger.. not in to much pain a hr after.... Got home slept 2 hrs and now heading to work my pain level out of 10 is like bairly a 1 i would explain it as when u flossed to hard and hurt ur gumms kinda pain... This is the place to go ill be recomending them to all my friends and they just made a life time paitiont

Amazing dentists! I needed some work done and I didn't feel a thing the whole time I was there. I was extremely relaxed. They even had Netflix attached to the dentist chair! Everyone there is extremely nice and the prices are great.

As with pretty much everyone else, it took a few months of waiting before I got to have my appointment. While I would not say that any dentist visit is worth the wait, this was definitely the best dentist experience I have had in a long time.
Office is clean, appointment was on time, they have up to date technology!

At last a well managed, well equiped and well staffed practice where you get explanations in plain English. Did not get the news I wanted to hear but we now have a plan for long term solutions to my dental problems. And they take Care Credit. I'll be back with more remarks in the near future.

Everyone here is extremely nice and help to put you at ease. Very thoughtful and vigilant staff, from those on reception to the dental nurses to the dentists themselves. Plus in the waiting room they have a massage chair, a paraffin wax hand treatment (free!) while you wait, and Netflix to preoccupy you when you are having treatments done. The pricings are not bad either. I am always very impressed. I recommend!

I have 2 months left and I'm done with my invisalign. I thought I would wait to write my review for this office until I was almost done to make sure the little plastic trays actually work and straighten teeth. They work, my teeth are pretty much almost perfect. Not sure what will be happening in the last 2 months but I'm really happy with the look right now. Really happy I picked this office. Everyone is ALWAYS so nice when I come in. One thing to remember is if you're getting invisalign DON'T LOSE YOUR TRAYS, keep an eye on them when you take them off. I put my trays on my McDonalds tray while I was eating and when I went to throw my food away... boom the trays were in the trash too. Went to the office and they had to order a new set for me, and it took a week to get it from invisalign. My fault for eating McDonald's I guess. But it did delay for a few days and caused an extra visit. The parking is free too so don't forget when you're going to park in the Biltmore hotel valet. Great dental office, If I ever need invisalign again in another life I'm finding Calm Dental again.

Amazingly friendly staff. Filled out my paperwork in a massage chair, got a nice hand wax dip while waiting to get my X-rays. Super good deep cleaning pain free. Over all a great experience, so glad I found them.

I have a coworker who recommended Calm to me after we both got dental coverage from our job. I had originally gone with a dental plan that wouldn't have covered this office but I switched this year just to see what he was so excited about.

Keep in mind, I've been unemployed for years on end before and I'm the kind of customer (right now) who's looking for ways to take advantage of having coverage and having a little extra money in my pocket. I had tried a few dentists before who had attempted to upsell me from a single out of pocket cleaning to full braces (citing my crowding as a likely cause of heart disease. Awesome.) and I've had dentists who have finished their exam, shaken my hand and walked out the door without any real discussion at all. I have to say, of the two extremes I prefer the latter.

Calm's staff is excellent. Every single person there is friendly, courteous competent and concerned with my satisfaction. From the minute you walk in, they're offering you water and a seat in their massage chair. My buddy who recommended the place was particularly stoked about this little hand lotion bar they have. I don't know anything about hand lotion, so I didn't try it Anyway...

Here's why I gave them a rating of "Very Good" rather than "Excellent". Calm likes the deep cleanings. The first time I've ever HATED my dental experience was when I went to a guy that was near my apartment from a few years ago and everything he did was awful. He wasn't thorough, the office was unfriendly and impersonal. He ripped my gums apart with one of those little water spraying Dremel things, somehow STILL leaving all the buildup on my teeth... and then he told me I needed a deep cleaning. If he had cleaned any deeper with that little evil bastard of a drill sonic pick torture apparatus, I'd have looked like something out of the walking dead. I did not take that guy up on his offer. I actually went to a different guy who took pictures of the work the deep cleaning guy did and got me a full refund from my insurance because there was so much crap left on my teeth. From that moment on, the term "deep cleaning has had a negative connotation in my mind.

So... I walk into Calm. I tell them I want them to take over my cleanings and I'm interested in the Invisible braces. Doctor takes a look around. He wants me to have a deep cleaning and a couple of fillings up near my gums. Now seeing as these people have come so highly recommended, I trust them to give me fair advice about what I need. I got the deep cleaning. I got the fillings or whatever it is they call it when you put some white hardening agent on the upper part of a tooth near the gum line.

I'm going to say this loud for the benefit of all mankind. I WILL NEVER GET ANOTHER DEEP CLEANING EVER AGAIN. I swear to God, if any dentist ever tells me that I need another deep cleaning, I'm taking off my bib and walking out of the place. They cleaned my teeth. Correction. They jabbed me with four hits of Novocaine, THEN they cleaned my teeth. As far as I can tell, all the deep cleaning did that a normal cleaning wouldn't have done was make my teeth WAY more sensitive than they were before. The little filling thing has also proved disappointing as that tooth in particular feels like the gum line has peeled back even more, making it extra sensitive to cold and hot as well as feeling like it's got a rough, sand papery buildup of plaque (but it's not plaque, it's the filling) along the gum...

I'm going to stick with Calm. I like the people. I am also, however going to tell every single person I can that they should never let anyone give them a deep cleaning unless they've got major visible gum recession. Go to google. Type in "Deep Cleaning" The third result auto fills "deep cleaning scam". Get your regular cleaning. You'll be fine.

Try Calm. Just decide beforehand what you're willing to be sold.

And to Calm; Thank you for your courtesy. I'll see you next month. Keep that sonic pick in it's holster. I'll take the metal hook from here on out.

Calm Dental is fantastic. They put a back massager in your chair while they do x-rays, and do a fantastic job as well. Very nice and highly recommended.

This was my best experience at a Dentist EVER! I love everything about this place. Super genuine, friendly staff all round, and the luxury perks make it a fun trip. The Dentist was professional, sweet and great at her job. My husband and I love it, and are definitely in for life.
