Father-son family practice with over 35 years of combined experience, Dr. Geoff Bell’s clinic combines latest dental techniques with hard-earned experience to serve every patient. In a patient-centered and friendly environment, Dr. Bell’s Carlsbad office provides high-quality dental services for dental cleaning, periodontal treatment or teeth whitening, and more complex treatments for cosmetic crowns, bridges, veneers, and implant restoration.
Dr. Bell graduated in 1980 from the UCLA School of Dentistry. Dr. His family has lived in Carlsbad for more than 40 years, and driven by his childhood experience he believes in preventive dentistry. A widely-traveled person, he took up many varied jobs, which taught him how to get along with people. In his dental practice, Dr. Geoff Bell is accompanied by his son Dr. Brandon Bell, who is a Bachelor of Science in Biology, and attended the UCLA School of Dentistry for his dental degree and also received multiple awards at the dental school.

They always make me feel comfortable! This is the dentist I always look forward to seeing. Staff is super friendly and Dr. Bell always takes care of me. I got my teeth cleaned yesterday after waaaaayy too long, and it was a great experience. Debby briefed me on every step as we went along so I always knew what was going on and learned about my teeth in the process, again the feeling of comfortability was there. Highly recommend!

I had my first appointment with Dr. Bell yesterday. How very nice! Friendly staff, nice environment, and a comfortable feeling. I had an initial consultation with no procedures needed at this time; will come back in six months for a cleaning. I liked Dr. Bell's personality; he is cheerful and comes across as just a nice guy. Both he and his assistant were gentle in examining my teeth. I think I have found a dental practice that will keep me happy for many years.

These guys are amazing!! There's a reason they're always booked out in advance. :) All the hygienists are gentle and accommodating and the Doctor always comes in to check on me at the end. I told the doctor I was pregnant and he gave me baby ugg boots!!! Amazing! They really treat you like family here. Fantastic experience all around!!

Dr. Bell and his staff are the best I've encountered. Understand: I *hate* going to the dentist. I've had five or six in the 16 years I've lived in the San Diego area. My husband has to bribe me to go for my twice-yearly visits, or withhold vacation plans until I do. But with the gentle hygienist, down-to-earth doctoring, and attentive staff, I actually don't mind so much. The text-messaging appointment reminder system is great. The office is "normal", not glitzy, and Dr. Bell doesn't try to talk you into whitening or veneers or anything fancy. I send my friends there!

Exceptional dentist! My wife has been a patient of Dr. Bell for 30 years. It's so difficult to find an exceptional dentist, but both Dr. Geoff and Brandon Bell are the best around. When we relocated to Northern California in 2012, one of the only items my wife asked for was to continue visiting Dr. Bell. Every 6 months, we fly to Carlsbad for our dental appointments. There are not many things I would hop on a plane for(other than vacation or work of course), but visiting Dr. Bell tops the list. Seriously, both Dr. Bell's are that good! If you are looking for a great dentist and stumble across this review, stop searching and give Dr. Bell a call. I'm sure you will be writing a 5 star review too...

Just back from another checkup and cleaning at Bell Family Dentistry. As always, everyone was on schedule even though the place was busy. Susan did a superb job of scouring the coffee/tea/red wine stains from my old teeth, and it was cool to see the overall state of my choppers on their state-of-the-art software display. I continue to be delighted with the great experience I have at this office year in and year out--quality service and competent care is a rare and dear thing.

I LOVE this office. My husband and I are both patients of Dr. Geoffrey Bell and his son, Dr. Brandon Bell. We have been patients in this office for approximately two years now. Everyone in this office is amazing from the front desk staff to the dental hygienists. We have always been treated extremely well here and are super happy to have found such caring and gentle dentists. They are great at what they do and do not treat you like a random person in this office. It is refreshing to have a medical office and it's entire staff that recognize you and remember you. I would highly recommend this office to anyone.

Dr. Bell has by far been the best dentist visit yet. He explained everything in great detail, and made me feel extremely comfortable during my procedure. So comfortable I almost fell asleep. His staff is welcoming, and diligent. I would highly recommend anyone to Dr. Bell! I'll be back.

I've been a patient for 30+ years! Every stage of my life at Dr. Bell's office has been consistent, kind, and a comfortable experience. Dr. Bell truly is 'as good as it gets'! He is soooo kind and smiley every time I see him and I feel so comfortable in his office. My hygienist Cortney is amazing! She has a gentle touch but is so thorough; it's so nice to see her every six months and I enjoy getting to catch up on our growing families. Dr. Bell is the ONLY dentist I have and will ever go to in my 32 years of life! My parents were referred to him about 36 years ago and they've never looked back. I have heard horror stories from friends about their dental experiences which I why even when my insurance changed and Dr. Bell was no longer in-network I choose to pay out of pocket rather than find a new dentist. I absolutely love coming to Bell Family Dentistry and refer them to everyone I know. Their entire staff is so warm, welcoming, and gentle. When looking for an orthodontist and endodontist I went to Dr. Bell for referrals because I value his opinion so much. I am so relieved to know that one day when Geoff retires I can keep seeing his son Brandon who joined the practice a few years ago. My whole life I have thoroughly ENJOYED going to the dentist and seeing Dr. Bell and his staff. They are THE BEST!

I have been going to Dr. Bell for over 30 years. I wondered when his son joined the team how that would go and have found Brandon to be as excellent as his Dad. They always show great concern for your comfort, treat you with respect, and truly make you feel appreciated. I have moved 70 miles away but will still drive here to get all my dental care. There are so many things that set Dr. Bell and his dentist office apart from the rest. From the organized and staff friendly staff, to the fantastic location, the simple and timeless beach decor, and most importantly the exceptional, trusted work of Dr. Bell. The overall vibe inside the building just feels relaxed and safe, which is a direct reflection of Dr. Bell and his style of dentistry. My entire family, and many extended family have been seeing Dr. Bell for 30 years. Imagine the perfect dentist who is relaxed and has a great sense of humor and is the best at what he does - literally pain free dentistry 100% of the time. Then his son, the next Dr. Bell (we call him Dr. Brandon) steps up and continues every bit of the amazing care we have come to love. I'm excited that my sons will be able to continue seeing the next Dr. Bell all the way into adulthood! Incredible friendly staff.
