I was tricked by the reviews. " not cheap" is one thing, but over 10 times more is quite another. I could fly to a dentist in Cancun with the difference in prices!

After consulting with a few other dentists, all but Dr. Reese were dismissive about my concerns regarding a symptom I had been experiencing over the past few years. Dr. Reese gave me not only a concrete, scientific reason behind it, but also a simple solution for it. He is patient, experienced, very vocal about every procedure he does and is also happy to explain anything you may want to know.

One of the best dentist in the world (imo), Dr Rees wont- let you down. He wont sugar coat things or overcharge either. For you bargin hunters, heres a tip- he is not cheap (but not too expensive either) - he is quality and experienced. If price concerns you ask what the prices are before you book so there arent any discrepencies. If you want cheap, go to TJ, if you want a healthly and brilliant smile with honest results you can be proud of come see Dr Rees. Been coming here 10 years now and he keeps my mouth looking great and is always friendly and on top of the latest and greatest in the dental world. Seriously, trust me on this one, Dr Rees is the bomb!!!

A great Dentist! I had neglected my teeth for 10+ years, Dr. Reese was quite candid in his assessment, but assured me that we could take care of my (6+) crowns and associated dental work, in just a few visits!! I was in terrible pain when I first arrived; I have a good job with benefits, but had been putting my dental health on the back-burner, I am now completely pain free; what a relief! I am now on a regular schedule of cleanings, etc. (every few months). His pricing is very affordable, I was able to cover all the expenses on an available credit card, the rest was covered by my dental insurance. I highly recommend Dr. Reese.

Dr. Rees and his staff are very thorough and informative. He went through everything step by step with me and asked if I had any questions or concerns along the way. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. It is easy to make appointments that work into my busy schedule and if the time/day I want is not available they are great at making a note of it and calling me if that time becomes available. Overall they provide great service.

Dr. Rees is always informative, courteous, and has a great sense of humor. He was able to get me in on an emergency basis in 2014 and I have continued using his services ever since. I strongly recommend his professional and clinical services.

Dr Rees and all his staff are professional and caring. I have been going there more than 10yrs so its about time I let people know how great they are! Ramsey is the best hygienest I have ever gone to and I am extremely picky and exacting when it comes to getting my teeth cleaned! Great office, I highly recommend going.

A professional, efficient, pain-free dental experience. Claire did a great job securing pre-authorization on the insurance end, while Dr. Rees and his competent staff performed an absolutely PAIN-FREE route canal! I have had several performed by other dentists, all which had me out of commission for days. With Dr. Rees, I was literally at the gym by the afternoon and wasn't subjected to an evening on the couch with tapioca pudding with an Ensure chaser ;) Seriously, I Highly recommend this Dentist.

There is nothing negative I can say about Robert A Rees DDS and his staff! Matter of fact I can only speak so highly of Dr Rees and his lovely staff members! Claire at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. I am in need of a ton of dental work and was afraid i would not be able to fit it all in my budget! Dr Rees ended up saving me thousands of dollars! Not only did he do that, he took me through each phase I was gonna need to do with my mouth! He explained to me throughly about what was going on with my teeth. I ended learning some new things about my teeth and gums. This man is honest and genuine! I can not imagine anyone ever having a bad experience! Dr Rees and his staff get 5 stars from me! I'd give them more stars if there was a higher rating! You will not be disappointed by going here. I am so happy I did. Dr Rees put a temporary bridge on my mouth and it looked so real! Made me feel confident to smile! I go back in the next few weeks to get the final bridge! I really like Dr. Reese and his team! I started taking our two boys age 4 and 6 to see him and so far the treatment has been excellent! One of my boys needs some work and I really appreciate a dentist that feels like he cares and is willing to work with our family. I went to a pediatric dentist in Pacific Beach who was really not very friendly or caring to our children. Dr. Reese and his assistant are awesome. Gentle and kind. Take your whole family!

I enjoyed the professional, timely,and courteous treatment of Dr. Reese and his staff. He explained my options very well and provided enough info for me to make the decision to go ahead with the treatment. There was no waiting time, I went in at the appointment time and got out right away. He is quick and very good at what he does. I will definitely refer Dr. Reese to family and friends.

Many years visiting Dr Rees and the staff has been awesome. Jackie does a terrific job with the cleanings, and special treatments I have done every 4 months. Claire at the front desk informs me of the appointment reminders with text messaging/automated calls and the billing is checked with my discount plan I have through my insurance company. Several procedures over the past several years has been great. Dr Rees has been professional and thorough in updating some of my old silver fillings to the latest procedures and uses the most up to date equipment. I feel fortunate to have these professionals in my life. Good strong, healthy and white teeth are very important to me and I can tell that the mission in Dr Rees office is the same. I would highly recommend a visit and I am glad they are part of my community. Kevin

Dr. Rees is a great Doctor!! He removed my wisdom teeth and I was terrified. Once I was in the chair I was relaxed and calm. I put my head phones on and before I knew it , they were done and I was on my way home!! They have this AWESOME thing called sleep dentistry for people like myself who have a fear of the dental office. Also, Dr. Rees did a lot of other work on my teeth and he did a phenomenal job! I was so happy with the work he did , and on top of that the staff was amazing. All the staff greets you with smiles the moment you walk in the door. It is a beautiful office and I would recommend this doctor too all my friends!!! Thanks Dr. Rees!!! : )

I won a Zoom Whitening with Dr. Rees during a silent auction at an event Lin June 2014. His office was extremely accommodating in making my appointment, changing it, extending the certificate, etc; and I finally got the procedure done yesterday. Everyone in the office is so pleasant and genuinely nice; you can tell they are happy working there (which isn't always the case in medical/dental offices). What impressed me most was the time and attention Dr. Rees gave me. Because I wasn't an actual "paying" customer (he donated the zoom whitening for the silent auction) AND I live in Los Angeles and am not a potential long term patient; I had low expectations for the doctor's time/attention going in. Dr. Rees was incredibly thorough in explaining the procedure and even pointed out a few things I should talk to my regular dentist about after examining my teeth. The technician who did the procedure was the nicest, most gentle and professional technician I've ever met in a dentist's office! If I lived in the area, I would definitely make Dr. Rees my regular dentist.

Have visited Dr. Rees a few times and also had my teeth cleaned twice, since February of 2013 and have been very impressed with the dental practice. From Claire the receptionist to Hazel, the doctor's assistant to Jackie the teeth cleaner everything was handled very nicely. I have recommended him to friends.

What a positive experience! I found Dr. Rees more than a year ago through a Zoom teeth whitening promotion. I am a really nervous patient and used to have to take medication in college just to get my teeth cleaned. When I went in for my Zoom, I was also really nervous, but the staff was really professional and super personable, and completely put me at ease. This is not easy to do! I had such a great experience that I ended up switching to Dr. Rees as my regular dentist, and haven't had to take medication for cleanings since.

Been wanting to check out the Zoom! Teeth Brightening craze for some time now... I know, I know waaay late on following the trend. This was also my first in office whitening experience. The receptionist here... not the friendliest broad. The office itself is clean, spacious, and nice on the inside. When confirming my appointment the lady was firm in giving me directions and ensuring i would "be on time, unlike the others who came in recently" for said procedure. So there I am, prompt for my appointment and for what? To wait around for 15 minutes... I decide to check this place out on Yelp! And got a bit nervous at that point... The reviews are awful, thankfully I am only getting whitened I think to myself. I meet Dr. Rees DDS; a nice, well groomed guy. He leads me to the back where the Zoom! process will take place. He explain the process thoroughly. I then meet Eddie, the man who will actually do the process. Yet again, very nice and professional, explaining everything and ensuring I am comfortable throughout the experience. A few selling point were made during my visit to try and get me to switch to the office for my primary dental care... I can understand that as I am sure they were hoping to increase their client base when signing with Living Social for the Zoom! deal... I am glad they were not too pushy though because I already have a dentist whom I adore. The teeth whitening went great and I am very happy with the results. So would I recommend this dental office? For whitening, definitely.

I moved here several years ago and asked friends for recommendations for a dentist. I am still thanking them for Dr. Reese. He is a great dentist and a wonderful person. I am a very nervous patient, like many of us, and do not enjoy going. If you must, this is the very BEST dentist I have ever seen. He and his staff are extremely competent, kind. and helpful.

Positive experience with Dr Rees and his staff./ Claire, the receptionist, verified all services with my insurance prior to the appointment. The dental hygienist was precise and thorough. Dr Rees took extra time during our consultation to listen to my concerns. He took notes while I spoke.

Dr. Rees and staff are great! I had a fear of dental procedures in the past and Dr. Rees is very patient and makes me feel right at ease. Plus, I have had some extensive work done there and it has been outstanding. No post-procedural complications at all. I used to neglect my oral care because I hated going to the dentist, but have been going to Dr. Rees for about 3 years now and on schedule.

Dr Rees is the best dentist in San Diego La Jolla area! I have seen him for over 6 years and cannot thank him enough. From my veneers, crowns, fillings and check ups, I have experienced nothing but exemplary service from him and his staff. Highly recommenced!!

I have had the worst experiences with dentist, until Dr. Rees and his entire staff. They are the best. They treat you like family and really care about you from the minute you walk in until even after you have gone home after a procedure. I was shocked after I received a phone call from Dr. Rees after he had retreated my root canal to see how I was doing. They explain everything they are doing and the out of pocket cost prior to performing any work. Claire is such a sweetheart love her!

Was very happy with the quick service at Dr. Rees office being my first meeting. I found Dr. Rees to be very personal and knowledgeable. I had my teeth whiten and was very happy with the results! I have not had any discomfort from the procedure as you sometime can. I would highly recommend Dr. Rees and his office.
