I have finally found my new favorite dental office! Never have I felt so satisfied with the dental care I was receiving AND also treated with such care by staff. Dr. Nguyen and her dental assistants makes it a mission to make sure you are comfortable the entire time and not experiencing any pain or discomfort. She is very easy to talk to regarding any of your dental concerns and will happily offer you advice and explain what she is doing while she's working away at your teeth. I have never felt pressure to have extra procedures done either. She goes over your X-rays with you carefully and explains what she thinks is healthy, okay (but doesn't necessarily need work yet), or possibly problematic which fell exactly in-line with what I was feeling myself about pain points in my mouth. I also must mention Dr. Nguyen's receptionist, Annie, is always welcoming and courteous! It might be a little odd to mention, but I think it's fantastic that she speaks so clearly and professionally both in person and over the phone. She is also very diligent in remembering to give you a reminder call before an appointment. I can't count the number of times in previous dental offices where the staff mumble or speak too quickly and are also forgetful. Annie is absolutely a pleasure. In fact, everyone at this practice is genuinely nice and you can tell they care about your well being. I've had X-rays, cleaning, and three composite fillings done so far. All equipment they use is very state-of-the-art and clean. All costs are discussed with you before anything is done so it is absolutely clear what you will be paying and what you will be getting. Really look forward to coming back, which is such a weird thing to say about a dentist! Bonus: It is also fairly easy to find street parking by the office. Also located conveniently near the bus line.

I found a gem of a dentist with Dr Nguyen. She's friendly, caring, and honest. All the attributes you look for in a good dentist. You can tell she enjoys her craft and in interacting with her patients. That's not something you can say about a lot of dentists. Her office is neat, tidy, and welcoming. She is also gentle with the cleaning. I am happy to have found my new dentist.

You ever feel like your dentist is just drilling your teeth to profit off of you? Like your dentist doesn't really care and wants to just push you out the door to get to the next patient? Like your dentist isn't really in there to help you but to make money? Well you won't feel any of that with Dr. Nguyen!!! She is kind, patient, and will take her time answering ALL your questions. Even my crazy list of paranoid and borderline over the top questions. She brings me the pictures, the models, the diagrams, to make sure I understand everything that is going on. She wont pressure you to do anything you don't want. Her staff are wonderful. The assistant (dental hygienist?) is a cheery and helpful woman and you can't help but feel at ease in the dentist chair with her helping. The assistants were great at answer my emails, phone calls, and not once did they get fed up with me. So how did I find this place? Well long story short I came from another dentist who claimed my pain was from a cavity and not my crown. I let him drill my tooth, but felt something was off. After a month of deliberation I decided it was time to get a second opinion. Dr. Nguyen spent an hour talking to me and investigating my gums to see if there were other causes. She didn't automatically say cavity like my ex dentist. After some discussion she thought it was best for me to see an endodontist to check the roots of my crown. I trusted her judgement and off I went. A few weeks later I had another root canal done. You know why? Because my previous endodontist (5 years back) had MISSED a canal. Can you believe that? Let me tell you, the pain I was going through the last four months dissapeared after this. And all because Dr. Nguyen was careful and set on investigating and not rushing to any conclusions. This must be how going to the dentist feels like in heaven. Like really. The amount of comfort, relief, and love that comes from this office is phenomenal.

Beautiful office. Friendly and helpful staff. Dr Nguyen is amazing! She's really the sweetest. Very thorough, but gentle. I'm usually nervous about the dentist, but after today's visit I won't be nervous about going back to Dr. Nguyen. Highly recommended.

Love her!!!!!! and all the girls that work there. From the moment you call to make an appointment you usually get to see how the service will be like, girls that make appointments where sooooo nice, very kind and attentive! They help me with a problem I had with my insurance number, they always helped with the best attitude. When I arrived it took me less than I expected to get there so I came super early, and the receptionist girls, offer me tea and to read magazines,while it was time for my appointment. The office is so clean, beautiful and neat, you can see all the effort the doctor and teamwork makes. Then I got into a room where a girl took me radiographies, she was also so nice and careful, and sice I got really early, the girl from the counter got the magazine I was reading in the Lobby and took it to me while I waited for the doctor. When I met the doctor, she was so Profesional, warm, attentive and makes you feel as comfortable as possible knowing that dentist visit stressed many of us. Then I got a teeth cleaning and it was perfect, she was also very explanatory about all my questions and about what she was doing, something I always like, she even told me stories to distract me and kept asking me if I was doing fine. At the end of my visit, I received a complementary little bag with sensitive tooth paste because my teeth are sensitive ( aawwwww ) she even care about this little detail I told her, and also got a tooth brush, dental floss and a lovely letter!! Bottom line, Dr. Tiffany is the best dentist in the world, if you are thinking of going to a dentist do not hesitate and go with her! You won't regret it!

Thank you Yelp for bringing me to Dr. Nguyen! Dr. Nguyen and her staff are very personable and friendly. Dr. Nguyen is very thorough. She took the time to explain what my x-rays were showing and if things looked good or bad. When she was examining my teeth, she would tell me what and why she was doing certain things. Her method of teeth cleaning was very careful and painless. Throughout the whole appointment, she was very cheerful and chatty. I'm very happy to call her my dentist!

I recently moved to San Francisco a few months ago and needed a dentist that worked with my employers PPO. My wife recently visited Dr. Nguyen and had great things to say. Decided to get a check up myself. Dr. Nguyen was absolutely great. She was friendly, gentle, and gracious when my teeth had a little too much plaque on them. Needless to say, I am loyal patient and will be making her my primary dentist.

Dr Nguyen is warm, genuine and very kind. She performs a lot of the cleaning services herself, which I had never had before. But she is very thorough, thoughtful in her comments. The only thing I take a star off for is lack of follow through. There have been many times I have to call her office staff about things, like insurance benefits for services and such, rather than being called.

After moving to the East Coast, I still visit the West Coast (mainly the Bay area) fairly often. Thank goodness for Dr. Nguyen - she was the only office that was able to schedule me in last minute after I got the worst toothache while on vacation! Her office is located inside the Sunset Dental building, and she's in Suite 3. The lobby area is very clean and inviting, and the receptionist is friendly and professional. The office as a whole has a very comforting feel, not only accommodating the patients, but also any family (such as children) with them. I noticed while waiting that Dr. Nguyen (and her receptionist) noted the birthday of a patient's daughter while she was sitting and waiting, congratulated her and gave her princess dental goods as a "gift". As friendly as it gets, folks. Dr. Nguyen is also extremely friendly and professional, as well as honest and thorough. She makes sure that you know what you're in for (in terms of how the appointment will go, as well as costs and return appointments), and makes a point to note any special requests that you have (for me, I have increased sensitivity, and she was very careful when looking and working with my teeth). It seems like a lot of Dr. Nguyen's patients stay with her (one of the other patients told me that she has been working for 20 years, and that they've been coming to see her for that whole time), and for good reason! Let me preface this by saying that I have a long history of hating and dreading dentists because I have horrible teeth. Period. No matter how much I brush/floss, I just have terrible teeth. So it wasn't until I had a crown emergency that forced me to finally make my the semi-annual appointment that I had been putting off for almost a year. Thank you Yelpers for leading me to Dr. Nguyen walking distance from my new place. My first phone call was a good sign. They were so friendly, professional, and accommodating. When I arrived, the office was clean, modern, and so friendly. I was working with a new insurance, and they were so wonderful with helping me figure out my dental insurance. They actually sat down with me and made sure I understood exactly what was covered by my insurance and what was not. I was also welcomed with hot green tea, which was lovely. I also so admire Dr. Nguyen for really doing what is best for her patients. She easily could have told me that I needed a brand new crown, but she worked so patiently and hard to give my teeth time to reform around my old crown, and it ended up fitting perfectly! So that alone saved me upwards of $800. And when I needed two small caries filled, she offered to do them with no local anesthesia, assuring me that it would not be painful. Since I hate being numb and unknowingly drooling out the side of my mouth, I agreed. BEST DECISION EVER. I was in and out of that appointment within 30 minutes with no pain and no numb drooling! Seriously, coming from someone who HATES dentists, this was actually PLEASANT! I'm almost looking forward to my next dentist appointment! And I'm recommending Dr. Nguyen to all my friends in the area!

My husband had cleaning, exam, x-rays, extractions and repair dentures. He put it off till he had infections and had to go. We had hard time finding good dentist and got tired looking for one. Finally, we are so happy to meet with Dr. Nguyen and her staff. They all are so nice and patient, we felt comfortable. Their office has latest equipments clean and nicely decorated. Most importantly, Dr. Nguyen did fantastic job on him and he is no longer scared to go see her. Thank you so much.

This review is a bit overdue, but nonetheless should be shared as Dr. Nguyen and her team deserve far more than 5 star ratings! I had gone in to see Dr. Nguyen a little over a year ago now, after nearly a DECADE of not going to the dentist.. not even for a measly cleaning! Needless to say, I had a decent amount of work that needed to be done so I was in the office fairly often ; ) Every time that I visit, I'm greeted warmly at the front and made feel so, so welcome. Just as I mentioned in my first review, you definitely feel like more than just a dental patient! I was actually excited for every appointment that I had! The office is always immaculate and pleasant to be in.. aka isn't a stark white and scary like most dentist offices! The process for each procedure was always very quick and pain free. You're really well taken care of whether it's the amount of local anesthetic used for you to feel comfortable or even the way that you're positioned in the chair--everything is taken into consideration to make sure that you're as comfortable and relaxed as can be. Now that my teeth and gums are healthy, I no longer need to go in for regular appointments and procedures; although, yes, I am going in for cleanings now! I think it's also important to note that I would travel for Dr. Nguyen no matter where she or I go. And I have NEVER felt that way about anyone. Without a doubt, the best dentist I've ever gone to and I'm so glad that I found her. Thank you Dr. Nguyen, to you and your entire team!

Tiffany Mai Nguyen's Dental Office is located at the corner of Santiago and 19th Ave which is an excellent location with plenty of 2 hour parking available. The entrance to her office is at the main entrance at the corner and is easily accessible. The interiors are newly restored and I absolutely love the energy of her dental office. In addition to being newly restored, the dental equipment is the latest and greatest with teeth x-ray machines that insta-upload photo x-rays of your teeth while using a fraction (about 5%) of radiation exposure when compared to older teeth xray technology. As a dentist, she is friendly, courteous, patient, reliable, and professional. Although this is her new office, she has been my dentist for over 12 years as she had previously served patients at the dental office over on Noriega and 30th Ave. That's at least 25 dental check ups from her without any mishaps or bad experiences. I think most of us prefer dentists that we trust and feel comfortable around. She provides that to me and more to the point that I often find myself falling asleep during checkups. Her new dental office has a "spa-feel" to it and the atmosphere is calming and most importantly very comfortable and �ber clean! Her supporting staff are also very friendly, courteous and professional. Look forward to many more years of great dentistry from someone who has been dependable to me for over a decade.

Today was my first visit to Dr. Nguyen's office and I have to say that this was hands down the best visit to the dentist I've ever had. Dr. Nguyen is extremely skilled, professional, and really a great person and her staff is fantastic! Everyone is extremely helpful and very informative. I highly recommend anyone looking for a new dentist to come here!

I really had the best time at the dentist today. I don't even think I have ever said that before, nor imagined that I ever could. Dr. Nguyen and her receptionist Annie are just amazing. I felt so taken care of, I was given Green Tea to relax me before the appointment, given a tour and even got an amazing goodie bag when it was over!! Dr. Nguyen is so knowledgable, funny and kind. She constantly checked in with me to make sure I was doing okay during the x-rays, exam and cleaning and answered all my questions perfectly. I hate the dentist, I hate going to the dentist and basically hate everything dental related. But this experience was so simple, easy and fun - honestly, I can't wait to go back again in 6 months. For - real.

I have been a patient of Dr. Tiffany Nguyen for over a year now, and I can not recommend Dr. Nguyen and her office and wonderful staff ENOUGH. It is odd, but I would like to run around the streets of San Francisco and tell everyone to go to the dentist right now, and go see Dr. Nguyen. First, her office is immaculate. It's bright, incredibly clean and spacious, and soothing. That last one is difficult for a medical/dentist office as I HATE the dentist. I have very sensitive teeth and an abnormally small mouth that always gets pushed and pulled at other dentists' offices, but Dr. Nguyen is so incredibly gentle and knowledgeable and thorough. Her staff, especially Annie, is SO warm and welcoming. She always greets me by name--even at the very first appointment. I was shocked that they knew my name when I walked in for the first time (they thoroughly check appointment schedules and know exactly who's coming in, and when), and that they continue to greet me by name every time I arrived for appointments. They are reasonably priced, and always always on time. I have never waited for my appointment or for Dr. Nguyen to start the procedure for more than 5 minutes--and that was also the case when I arrived for my appointment 20 minutes early once due to misjudging my travel time. If all dentists were like Dr. Nguyen and her staff, no one would dread going to the dentist!

I came to Dr. Nguyen for a routine cleaning and I was impressed at the friendly reception I received upon arriving to the office. The entire office is clean and neat, which I appreciated. The equipment in her office is also well maintained and looked to be of a more modern model. It's also bright in the office and I liked how they had open windows so there was a lot of natural light. The hygienist was very thorough and gentle. I appreciated how my hygienist made sure I was comfortable during my appointment. Dr. Nguyen is very knowledgeable and is very willing to answer all of your questions. I am looking forward to come back for my next cleaning in six months.

Dr. Nguyen and her staff are great! I've been going to Dr. Nguyen for many years, starting when she was at Dr. Tin's practice. She's very warm and friendly, and it's a pleasure to see her every 6 months. When she opened her own practice, I didn't think twice about switching. I look forward to continuing to see her.

Since I moved to the Sunset Parkside 3 years ago, Tiffany Mai Nguyen is my dentist. Tiffany and her staffs are extremely friendly and helpful. Her work is very gentle and I know exactly what to expect if there are out of pocket charges. The office is very clean and equipment is up to date. Yay! I have found my dentist!!!!

I was really happy with my first visit to Dr. Nguyen. I called on Monday, got an appointment on Wednesday to take care of my toothache. The office is nice and clean, parking was easy and all the expenses were explained before any work was done. I'll definitely go back.
